Final Website Migrated, Plugins and Code Snippet Choices

Image
In this post I will go through the process of migrating my website and explain which plugins and code snippets I used, and why. After finishing my website I downloaded the All-In-One WP Migration plugin to migrate it to my online hosting. I used this plugin because I am familiar with it and the last time I used it worked without any problems. Unfortunately not this time. I exported my website from the local WordPress, but during the import to the hosted site it got stuck at 100%. After trying to import it several times I did some research and found out that it might be a problem with the new version of the migration plugin. The older version of the plugin allowed me to restore the website from the backup and I used that option to successfully migrate it. The Hostinger site was used to host my website because it is a reliable hosting company with affordable pricing. A theme I chose was very simple because I wanted to customise it myself.  For the CA2 main website I have an idea to build a website for a restaurant. I did research for UX for a good restaurant website and the results are following: Ordering online should be simple and quick.  The CTA button has to be visible on all the pages to start the ordering process at any time when browsing the website. The buttons, typefaces and images have to be an appropriate size and colour to be seen and easy pressed. The nutritional menu and ordering menus should be connected. Apparently on nutritional m

If it is the experience that stuck in your mind, then it’s most likely because it was not the best one. Using a successful website, you are supposed to get engaged with its content and not to think about the technology. Which button or link you have to press should intuitively lead to your actions. If you want to find out, in simple words, the importance of universal design, UX and UI when developing websites, then you are in the right place! First of all, what is UI, UX, and Universal design?  UI (user interface) website design concentrates to the visual elements such as buttons, icons, colours, and the rest of aesthetics.  UX (user experience) design focuses on how easy and fast users can go through the process of using website and most importantly how they feel during it. Universal design principles help to create websites which are ple
